This was Kaylee's birthday party on the 10th. I unfortunetly didnt get to go. I missed a christmas party the night before and then her party on the 10th. Stupid doctors dont listen. I mean they think that just because they know how one thing works like a certain insulin they wont keep me on my insulin that I take at home therefore keeping me in the hospital longer. I think that this is a record for me. But this time the DKA was not my fault. The prep that one doctor put my through for a certain procedure completely dehydrated me and sent my blood work out of wack ending me up throwing up all over my bed, unable to breath, and just plain sick as a dog and that ends me up in the ICU for three days. I am done with these stupid docs I swear. And as soon as my endocrinologist set the ICU doc straight about my insulin I got better 100% faster. I take twenty units of insulin before I eat and they only wanted to give me 2. hmmm not going to work. Anyway the picture above is my favorite we tease kaylee that this is her boyfriend Jordan.
